About Our School

The Azusa Adult Education Center (AAEC) has served AUSD community since 1938. With a proud 77-year plus heritage of service, the school offers 21st century-focused classes that are designed to meet the varied academic preparation, language development, and career training needs of our community.  

Adult classes are held at the Azusa Adult Education Center (AAEC), and are offered in day and evening formats in order to offer maximum flexibility for our students’ busy lives. Our school programs include ESL, Adult Basic Education, High School Diploma and HiSET (GED), a variety of Career Technical Education classes in the medical sectors.

The Azusa Adult Education Center is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges.

Accreditation is an assurance of quality and a guarantee that classes taken for credit will be accepted for credit by other educational institutions. All teachers are certified in their respective teaching area by the State Commission for Teacher Preparation and Credentialing.
